With this song I wanted to capture the emotions I felt in a particular long distance relationship I had while living in Washington. Although I wasn't the most committed at times, I still took the words "I love you" to heart when they were said to me. so when she would say those words and acted in ways completely contrary I would leave me thinking, If you really are so in love with me why do you do x,y,and z. Here's the product of that.
